What a mess…

One of the most important things on my todo-list before the next contest was to finally get that shack cleaned up! So here you can see some pictures of this work in progress.

Before cleanup:

Ever tried to win a contest from this shack?
Well, I did win one... but it was only a local 80m contest so no SO2R!
Enough cables to fly a 747... but a hell to service when something goes wrong.

During cleanup:

Mmm, an empty table (aka our old bedroom door)

Some new racks, room for 2 FT9000's and 2 EMTRON DX-3 (only I'm a barefoot man!)
Now this starts to look like an SO2R station! If only I can get everything hooked up again 🙂

  2. Mmm maybe, I guess I’ll not be so willing to dismantle my station for next fieldday. But, still 10 months to go before we have to worry about that 🙂
